Monument Valley is one of the places I was most excited to see! Due to Western but also because I had described it as a magical place ...
After returning a second time to see the Horseshoe Bend (yes it's really beautiful !!) we arrive in the late morning to face this landscape, stretching to the horizon, and supernatural colors. We go around by car (about 3 hours), stopping regularly to take pictures because each new point of view is more majestic than the last.
It is possible to make horseback riding, unfortunately, we were 4 and I have not managed to convince them ... If I go back one day, they will not escape !!
Another place of interest in the area if you have time is Gouldings Museum, we learn the history of western, with sets and movie posters in old houses ... all with great views of Monument Valley !!!

Note: Do not go into a convertible, it would be a shame to have to pay around 4x4 when you could do it more quietly by myself.
